new chapter in life = new journal :)

i think i am going to make another xanga journal. i mean, i will keep this one up and write down the link to it so i can look back at the journal. time for new memories and a new beginning for me being that one, i graduated college with a four-year degree and i am moving into my boyfriend's the end of June.

so it's really a new chapter in my life and not just mine, my boyfriend's as well. it's almost like we're becoming one, but really we aren't because it's not like we're getting married lol.

but, yes a new journal :)

Well I'm a bit on the tired side..guess that's because lately I've been off track with my medicine (special milk). My boyfriend and I arrived at his aunt TC's in South Carolina at about 11AM. We stopped overnight in Emporia, VA because it was about 11:30PM and we were exhausted. We were about ten minutes or so from the border of VA and NC. We stopped at a Best Western, but they were "sold out"..haha..those were the girl's exact words.."sold out" of rooms. So we tried the Holiday Inn Express. Shit was not cheap, but my boyfriend and I went in half with the cost of the room. We had a room with a king size bed. Not that we needed that big of a bed, but hello :)

The next morning, my boyfriend drove the rest of the way because I pretty much drove from Jersey all the way into VA. He only drove from VA when we stopped off for gas to basically almost the end of VA..towards the border. We left at 6:30AM to make it in time for the USC baseball game in Columbia. It was my first college baseball game and I really enjoyed my time. I was applying sun block seriously like every half hour. I was like an icky mess! It was hot and the sun was beating down on my back! Unfortunately I would had burnt badly if I did not apply sun block and I was not about to make that mistake!

At the sixth inning, we headed out to pick up his cousin Rayn at his friend's. I can't understand how some people can let their house/apartment smell like shit and look like shit, ugh! .. This guy's place was gross. We went back to my boyfriend's Aunt Denise's and hung out with Jeremy until Ryan got ready to go to work at 5:30PM. We came back from taking Ryan to work and then had dinner that Jeremy's neighbor made. It was some pot pie..It was soo good! After that, we headed back to his Aunt TC's to crash and relax because our day was coming to an end.

Today I was hoping to sleep in because yesterday and the day before was a long day! I would up waking up at 7:30AM. My boyfriend did as well. We sat around until about 9:30. I got in the shower to get ready to go out. Me, my boyfriend, and his aunt TC went to where his grandfather and grandmother are buried. I wanted to see the plaque and such. Also say a little prayer. After that, we went to Ruby Tuesdays and had some lunch. I had some delicious dish where there were three drifferent grilled chickens made differently. It was good. I also had the salad bar of course because it came with the meal :)

After lunch, we were picked up by his Aunt Denise by some place. His Aunt TC was meeting up with someone. We chilled out at his Aunt Denise's with Ryan and watched Mission Impossible. It was a pretty good movie. We had to stop the movie at about 4:30 because we were going over with his Aunt Denise to Aunt TC's because we were going to surprise her for her birthday. She said she wasn't surprised. Lmao. How nice. At one point I became really emotional. I just felt like I guess left out and like I was being a pain to my boyfriend because I'd want to go out when it was like 7:30 at night, but I just was not up for sitting around because of "tiredness". My boyfriend came up to see what was bothering me...I had gone up to the room where were staying to just get away from everyone. It just seemed like he was getting annoyed with me and not understanding how I was feeling. So I told him to just go downstairs if he wasn't going to understand how I was feeling. So he left and went downstairs. Five minutes later, they called me downstairs for cake and to sing happy birthday to his Aunt TC. When I got downstairs, my boyfriend said "My Aunt Denise said you have a very lovely girlfriend.." Something close to those words. But that made me feel a bit better..because sometimes i honestly feel I'm not good enough or sometimes I drive my boyfriend to the point of him thinking like "Why am I still with her?", etc. I told him I wanted to go on a date with him..Lmfao. So he asked if I wanted to go to Frankie's Fun Park. So I said "yeah". =D We played mini golf and it was so much fun and I was happy to just have "US" time. My boyfriend won by one stroke! As usual! We came back and went over to his Aunt Denise's again to finish watching Mission Impossible and then we watched Chronicle. That movie was good, but crazy in a way. Yeah, so that was pretty much my day.

So today was eventful! In the morning me and my boyfriend went to Lake Murray. It's such a beautiful lake. I didn't get to go swimming because it's that time of month and I don't do tampons. So my boyfriend and I enjoyed a sub from Jersey Mike's...What do you know, they first opened in Point Pleasant, NJ. I was so uncomfortable due to that time of month and I wanted it for so much to just end. So after the lake and only being there for a good hour, my boyfriend wanted to go play some arcade games at Frankie's Fun Park. At that point, it was getting hot and it's not like I was going in the water, so we went over to play some arcade games. We played some arcade games and then my boyfriend wanted to play mini golf again. It was only $6 so I thought, "why not?" .. At first I didn't want to, but I was thinking "I don't want to be a little bitch or seem like I'm in this mood or something." Mini golf was definitely fun and I enjoyed my time even though I always lose against my boyfriend. ONE DAY I WILL BEAT HIM IN MINI GOLF! lol.

After mini golf, we went back to his Aunt TC's to relax for an hour. At 4:00PM we went to a buffet called Ryans. It's more so country-styled. It was good and filling for sure. Then from there, we went to meet up with his cousin Jeremy because we were driving over with him to the field where his baseball game was going to take place. The game didn't last long. The other team won, 12-1 .. lol. It was nice to get out though. After the game, Jeremy and his parents were hungry so we all went to Longhorn Steakhouse..My boyfriend got a beer and I got a strawberry daquri which was horrible. >_<  After they ate, me, my boyfriend and my boyfriend's cousin went back to their Aunt Denise's to hang out until me, my boyfriend and his cousins Jeremy and Ryan went bowling. Bowling was good especially because I haven't done it in a while. Once the third game came, I gave up. My fingers were starting to hurt. I think the holes in my ball are too small. =/ So that was pretty much today.

Today we are going to Charleston. Charleston is a historic town. First we are planning on walking around to look and site see pretty much. Excited! Afterwards, the guys (my boyfriend and his cousins) want to go on the beach and go in the water. We were going to a beach called Folly Beach. It was a nice beach and a nice little town. It was still that time of month, but I was not letting that stop me! I got into my bathing suit and put a pair of shorts over my bathing suit and pretty much practically ran into the water. The water was so warm believe it or not. It was great :) I didn't get to stay in too long because my boyfriend was getting thirsty and wanted his beer..So I had the option of staying in the water, but I didn't want to stay in the water alone. So I got out and went to go get changed as quick as I could. I sat on the beach then until we left which was at like 6:30PM. The guys were just enjoying their beers and the sun. I unfortunately wasn't enjoying the sun too much due to the fact I was applying sun block every hour just about. They finally got in the water for like I suppose 20 minutes or so. I took some pictures of them.

When we finally left at 6:30Pm, we went to the crab shack in Folly Beach because my boyfriend wanted seafood. He wanted his raw oysters. So he was able to get 6 raw oysters. He got some Mahi Mahi Fish special..It was okay. His cousin Ryan had the best dish. Some pot pie with marinara sauce and seafood of course. I decided to get friend shrimp and friend oysters with french fries. It was pretty good. I definitely like friend oysters better than raw oysters lmfao. We had a good time. At one point, his two cousins were saying that I'm a good person and that everyone including Aunt Denise and Aunt TC love me and that I haven't given them a reason for them to not like me. That made me feel good...I mean they were kinda buzzed and um high a little bit lmao, but I suppose they meant it. :) Either way, it felt good to hear that! I got stuck with the shift to drive back and of course in the dark! .. It seemed so far a way and a long ass drive! I was getting tired and was kind of drifting, but I made it! We made it back at like 10:30PM. Yeah, I was definitely tired and I slept good that night!

This morning my boyfriend and I kind of are just chilling out. Lunch time were are going to get lunch at this little pizza place where his aunt works. I don't remember the name of the place. Later on, me and my boyfriend were planning on going to Frankie's Fun Park with his cousin Jeremy, but we never wound up going. Today is Aunt TC's birthday and I think she is working a double. We were planning on taking her out to dinner or something. So we will have to see what's going on later. I'm getting really low on cash...I hate that. I set aside at least $100 for the way back to Jersey. I was hoping my boyfriend didn't have to work on Saturday, but when we got back into Jersey, we went to his job so he could check his schedule and he was scheduled Saturday from 3PM-11PM..Sunday and Monday he had off. YAY! :) My boyfriend and I were planning on staying overnight an extra night, but I was getting low on cash and I just was ready to get back to Jersey.

We really didn't end up doing much...After lunch, we went and chilled out at Aunt Denise's with Jeremy. Brian and Jeremy played some xbox. I was ready for a nap. Sure enough, I wound up taking one. At 6PM me and my boyfriend were meeting up with his cousin Alicia and her boyfriend Steven and their son Marley. We met up with them at San Jose's Mexican Restauraunt. Forgot what the name of my dish was, but it was so delicious! Had a good time with them. They were nice enough to pay for our dinner and drinks and everything. That was real nice of them. After that we went and chilled out at their place with them. We watched the Ranger/Devils game. Rangers lost :( So yeah that was pretty much our day.

Today my boyfriend and I kind of took it easy in the morning. We had been planning on going to the zoo. We headed out about 11ish. I needed more sun block and I wanted my boyfriend to stop before getting to the zoo because you figure sun block at the zoo would cost a lot. We tried Exxon since we stopped for gas and no luck. We get to the zoo and oh boy was it packed! So we go to the gift shop and I ask if they have sun block...She brings over a fish bowl type of container with mini sun block bottles in it. I was like "Do you guys have bigger bottles?" The other cashier says "Nope, that's all we have." I was like "Wow, $4.49 for this little bottle?" Luckily, I didn't need more than that bottle..I juts at that point didn't want to apply more, sweat in the 90 degree weather, and be icky! Around 2:30 we got back from the zoo and we both took a shower because we were sweating and it was so hot out! About 4:30PM, 5PM we went to this chinese place for dinner which was right up the road. I really wanted to try their General Tso's chicken dish and see how good or bad it was. Surprisingly, it was so delicious! After that, my boyfriend and I went to the grocery store so I could get little 8oz bottles of coke and a bag of potato chips(which I happen to just waste pretty much) for the trip home.

We then met up with his cousin Alicia at 6PM by her house so I could get my notebook where I was writing because at one point during my stay, I was having writing withdrawls! .. We also said our goodbyes since we were leaving for Jersey the next day.

Before dinner, my boyfriend and I were collecting paper flyers for homes that are for sale within his Aunt TC's neighborhood. Some of the homes are pretty damn cheap. You know, just getting some ideas and whatnot.

Then later on around 8:30 or so me and my boyfriend went to Aunt Denise's to hang out with Jeremy and Ryan and say our goodbyes. I was so tired and was planning on getting a good night's rest, but my boyfriend was having way too much fun with Jeremy playing basketball on xbox and before that watching a basketball game on TV. I was on the bed pretty much falling asleep. He was lucky I was able to wake up and drive first because I was super tired the night before and he had this crappy ass beer that kind of knocked him out.

We left about 9:00AM ... it was a bit longer on the way back because we stopped a bit more. My boyfriend definitely drove a bit more than I did, but that was because my leg was bothering me when I would drive. I was glad to be back because I was starting to just get tired, but it was nice for me and my boyfriend to get to spend time with his family and do some things and go out :)

So that's a recap of my vacation to South Carolina. The end of June I will be moving into my boyfriend's house. I hope my boyfriend will cooperate with me on things rather than go against me and act like I am telling him what to do. Dinner will be coming soon and I am here at my brother's. It's getting muggy in here and I'm pretty sure my mom shut the air off because she said she shuts it off at night. CAN'T WAIT UNTIL MONDAY WHEN THEY HEAD HOME! JUST ME AND THE BOYFRIEND! 

SOUTH CAROLINA here we come ! .. today my boyfriend and i are driving down to Irmo, South Carolina. that's where his aunt and uncle live and we are going down there to spend the week. it shall be fun :) one day during the week, me and my boyfriend and his two cousins i believe are going into Charleston :) .. I definitely am excited about that because last time i was there, i wanted to go there. i also wanted to go to myrtle beach, but that's about a 2 hour drive or so. so it's either Charleston or Myrtle Beach.. hmph. lol. i've been to myrtle beach plenty of times, so i figured Charleston would be a new experience. i want to site see and walk around the town.

my boyfriend is working until 10:00AM and it's like ughh...fridays are my boyfriend's days off and they're making him cover a shift for someone because they can't work or some crap like that. my boyfriend told me as he was leaving work yesterday, mind you he worked a 10 hour shift..he said his manager said to him "i don't have no one to work for me next friday." i was like "ohh well too bad for him because we sure won't be back early friday." and he was like "i know that's what i told him.." i said "yep..and if he thinks of calling you while you're away, don't even answer the phone because he knows damn well you don't work fridays and you'll be away any how." he was like "i know don't worry about it..i won't answer the phone if he calls." he at least has off that saturday and sunday when we come back :) so he'll be able to come back to my house and then back with me to my brother's. i think on saturday i'm just going to stay back at my house because there's going to be nowhere for me and my boyfriend to sleep at my brother's. then on sunday, i'm telling my parents that they can go home because then i have to take over the rest of the days...i'm going to be hella bored sitting in that house by myself monday, tuesday, and wednesday until my boyfriend comes over after work. i just hope he comes and stays like he promised he would.

tomorrow my boyfriend and i are going to a college baseball game by them. it starts at 4AM. thank goodness lol because who knows when we'll be getting in from trip. =/ .. i really hope i don't become tired too easily...and i hope my boyfriend doesn't either! well, i'm gonna end it here. update if i can when i'm out there.

my mother knocks on the door to tell me "kerrii lower that! they(the owners) can hear that tv through the floor..i hear it all the way out here!" i was like "seriously mom..jeeez."

like can't i fucking sleeping. she's so rude. seriously like the owner can hear my tv downstairs? i don't have surround sound for crying out loud!

oh then she goes to ask if my boyfriend of his mother has a handicap parking sticker..i was like uh no and besides if you think you're going to get a handicap spot at the izod center, you're not because you'd have to leave way in advance for that to happen. she was like "okay well we will have to leave quarter to 7." i was like "okay well i have to pick up valerie and ronald." she was like "yeah when's that because i told maryann and joseph i was picking them up." i was like "are you kidding aunt maryann lives right down the block!" .. she was like "your friend cans walk here." i said "they're not going to be here at 6:45.." she was like in a nasty attitude "well then i guess they're not coming." i was like "whoa wait this is my graduation..you're not going to tell me who is coming and who isn't." and i went into my room and closed the door. like is my mother for real? smdh.

the one fucking day i could sleep in before i had to wake up again early ... my mother just has no respect for other at times. i can't wait until i leave .. at my boyfriend's house, most of the time, i can sleep in. well she's to blame if i'm cranky and nasty today. oh well. like i told her .. anyone gives me an issue tomorrow, i'm driving myself to the damn IZOD center myself. that's that. it's my fucking day and for once people could shut up and pretend to at least be happy and nice with no bickering.

ouch. damn sun burn.

so yes, i got sun burned today. wasn't expecting it..if i were, i would have applied some sun block to my skin. :/

my boyfriend had surprised me yesterday with beautiful flowers :) here's a picture of them below:

aren't they pretty flowers? :D .. he honestly knows how to treat me well and put a smile on my face. i wasn't expecting him to come up for the weekend on Thursday like he normally does and stay until Saturday. i was at shop rite with my mother on Friday because she needed a few things for the house and stuff to get for dinner. so he sends me a picture in text and i was like "that looks like my van." and he was like "that's because it is silly" .. omg i was so happy he came up because i was missing him so much. so when me and my mother got down into the parking garage he called me and was like "you're not going to come to my car?" and i was like "well my mother has bags of groceries and i'm gonna help her so just meet me at the house." he was like "oh okay." and then as we are leaving he calls me again and was like "do you have jumper cables?" and i was like "i don't i may, but i have to look." ... yeah well my father probably had them on him and he wasn't home at the time .. so i was planning on going back to meet him at the parking garage and call AAA. luckily two very nice people asked if we needed jumper cables and one guy had something that worked great ... yeah little did me and my boyfriend know he was going to have an issue starting his car again the next day(which would be today).

yep so my boyfriend was on his way out to head home at 12:30 for work. he had work at 3PM. his car wasn't starting and i swear i thought he was joking around. he wasn't. this time i had to call AAA, but they were quick about the situation. the guy jumped my boyfriend's car, but my boyfriend asked if there was any way he could tow the car to the pepboys out on route 1 .. so he said he could. i didn't want my boyfriend driving the car on the turnpike and godforbid something happens again because he doesn't have AAA and his father wasn't around because he was picking up my boyfriend's mother from the airport ... yeah what else is new lol. so i drove my boyfriend back home and then took him to work. i was so worn out from just that because i was pretty much in the sun all day and i got sun burnt a little bit..enough to the point where it hurts a bit. damn fair skin of mine. so when i got in, i worked on my paper that is due on Monday and had my left overs from dinner last night. wasn't in the mood to wait to eat or whatever. after i got 2 and a half pages typed up for my paper, i went for a walk with my friend valerie and her brother. we went to 16th street park. i needed the walk, but i was getting sooo tired. so it was a pretty quick walk. now i'm home updating as if you didn't see or know lol.

oh yeah .. one thing that bothered me about my boyfriend's mother before when he was on the phone with her was when he was telling her what the manager was doing to him at work..after he started to tell her about the week of the vacation he took to go to south carolina, she was like "oh okay well i can't help you.." and he was like "okay bye." .. like let your son talk .. is he taking up your precious time? .. i mean i understand you're mourning the loss of your father, but stop being that way to your son. i don't know maybe i take things too personally, but i know i would be hurt if my mother didn't want to hear my problems.

yeah so my friend had asked earlier if i wanted to hang with her if her boyfriend decided to not show .. basically, she wanted me to be seconds .. whatever as if i'm not used to that lol. so at that point, i was having the issue with my boyfriend's car .. so i told her the situation and that i didn't know what was going on for sure..so i didn't know what to say and also that i had to work on my paper when i got in. well i did ! .. once i was done with getting some of it going and typed up, i decided to go for a walk with my friend and her brother since i haven't seen them in a while. well, i get a text from her and she's like "hey i asked u to hang earlier :(" .. i said "i know..i figured you were with your man afterwards..i didn't get to go out until 7:20.." she was like "oooo..it's cool" then i see her status talking about how she's out to dinner with her man .. what the heck was that all about? what difference would it have made..you wound up being with him and i would have sat around waiting.. smh.

okay so yeah i'm going to just end it here... gonna rest.. need the rest of my strength or what's left of it to finish that paper tomorrow. :/
